Federal judge Claudio Bonadio requested the impeachment and ordered trial with Cristina Kirchner's preventive detention.

The magistrate´s decision against the former president and current senator was dictated in the case initiated following the complaint of the deceased prosecutor Alberto Nisman for alleged cover-up of the AMIA attack.

He also ordered the detention of the ex-secretary of Legal and Technical, Carlos Zannini, and the former demonstrator, Luis D'Elía, the lobbyist and Islamic militant Jorge Alejandro "Yussuf" Khalil and former leader of Quebracho, Fernando Esteche.

The former Legal and Technical secretary of the presidencies of Nestor and Cristina Kirchner was arrested early this morning in Río Gallegos, when he left his mother-in-law's house, and was lodged in the Federal Police delegation of Santa Cruz capital. This afternoon he would be transferred to Buenos Aires.

Meanwhile, the demonstrator leader was arrested this morning at his home in Laferrere. D'Elia was surprised while he was sleeping by the police commission, that arrived at his home at 6.50. Two troops entered with him and three were left in the door slogan while the procedure was being carried out.

Zannini and D'Elía are two of those accused by Bonadio in the case that began after the complaint made by the prosecutor Alberto Nisman days before being found dead in his apartment in the Le Parc complex, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Puerto Madero .

The deceased lawyer accused them of having made a plan with President Cristina Kirchner to conceal through the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran approved by Congress men suspected of having organized the attack on the Jewish mutual.

D'Elía had declared on October 19 before Bonadio in Comodoro Py. On that occasion, he said that "the AMIA file is contaminated with international politics."

Four days later it was Zannini's turn, who stated "not having participated in any negotiation or elaboration of the memorandum" mentioned. In addition, he denied any cover-up and said "never having met" the Iranian officials on whom the international arrest warrant weighs.

Nisman's impeachment

Alberto Nisman denounced Cristina Kirchner, Héctor Timerman, Luis D'Elía, Fernando Esteche and Andrés "Cuervo" Larroque for alleged cover-up of the AMIA attack through the signing of the Memorandum with Iran.

The plan was to "fabricate the innocence" of the Iranians accused of the 1994 attack and thus obtain trade agreements that included the exchange of grains and meat for energy.

At the beginning of the yea, the judges of the Chamber of Criminal Cassation Gustavo Hornos and Mariano Borinsky reopened tha case and gave it a new impulse, which led to the prosecutor Gerardo Pollicita requesting the imputation of Zannini, Julio De Vido, Oscar Parrilli, Angelina Abbona.

Although it was not originally denounced by Nisman, after the reopening of the case the prosecutor Pollicita added it because the first defendants in the case - among them Luis D'Elía, Fernando Esteche, and Jorge Khalil - mention it in the wiretaps presented by the owner of UFI AMIA.
